Account Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Build relationships with existing customers and prospect new customers.
Find new/new accounts and drive new business growth by gaining technical specifications at customers in the Americas. Understand Customer CTQ’s and relate them to the technical team to develop products for commercial success.
Balance short-term and long-term business objectives effectively: drive new business growth and building a strong target position for the future.
Develop a strong technical understanding of Solid concentrate color and liquid color products in the traditional and new application areas.
Identify unmet existing/unknown customer needs through research, prepared questioning, and strategies developed to address them.
Develop and implement selling strategies to win new business over the competition and work with customers on new application development.
Develop, execute, and manage sales growth plans, sales budgets, and expense budgets.
Foster relationships and navigate the internal business environment.
Position requires travel by car or plane up to 50%-75% of the time.

QUALIFYING & REQUIREMENTS:
BS degree in science, engineering, or business. Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Minimum 2 years of experience in the Sales & Marketing field. Ability to interact with R&D and manufacturing to facilitate developments.
The position reports to the Sales Manager and is based at Vortex Liquid Color, Sheboygan, WI.
